Reax conducted testing of fire mist systems installed in the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel with engineering support for the design of the full-scale experiments, instrumentation, pre and post-test fire modeling, and data interpretation. Reax Engineers are experts in fire testing and have supported numerous large-scale fire test programs in support of research, engineering assessments, and litigation. Recent work has included programs in auto-ignition of cellulosic materials, fire spread over roofing materials, fire resistance of mist protected structural elements, fire performance of municipal rail vehicles, and development of flame arrestor technology.
