Ronnie Thomas is a former Navy firefighter and has worked with Reax Engineering for several years developing code and performance-based solutions for complex buildings. Ronnie has extensive experience with fire suppression and smoke control throughout the United States and in several other countries. His project experience includes high-rise buildings, large office campuses, high-piled storage warehouses, beverage and oil distillation, mixed-use hotel-casinos, theaters, public transportation centers, and hospitals. Ronnie earned his Master’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has lectured on smoke control at the University of California – Berkeley Center for the Built Environment.
